This is for you Darshiva

Darshiva called me as they live here in Vancouver and asked what is my Favorite Microsoft game.
I will and was honest it took me less then a second to say " Microsoft Flight Simulator" series. I loved and do to this day FS 2004 and Flight Simulator X. I can not count the add-ons I bought for those games, be it new liveries or planes, to authentic scalings for airports. Sky textures and real time traffic to ground textures and weather

I have spent at least 600 hrs between the 2 games, not to count back to the earlier FS games. I shudder at the thought of how many $'s I spent on add-ons. The fact is when ya love a game you love a game and while Xplane has now surpassed the Microsoft series, it was by far my fondest memories. I even went so far as to become a ATC on Esky back in the day and regional manager at one time. Man the memories come flooding back, and so to today my fav simulation game still remains but I have added another.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 in my case, I just love this game. I have over 200+ hours into the game on Steam and I will not stop, when I was a kid I had truckers as friends and got to drive a few times in my late teens. I fell in love with Big Rigs, and the lifestyle, and yes it is a different world.

I can remember driving through Iron Bridge, Ontario Canada in the late 70's's listening to Red Sovine on 8 Track, stopping in Thesalon and grabbing a heart attack sandwich and a cpl of Mountain dew. This game takes me back to those days in some ways, it is not without it's flaws though.
You never see truckstops, just gas stations, also the lighting is off. You do not see a Mack, Volvo or Western Star with say Christmas Tree motif on its grille made of coloured lights, or even the add-on trailer lights we are used to over here. None the less I find the game so relaxing, even though I have a fleet of trucks and Drivers to manage. It is soothing driving on a County road through Lancashire, or off the ferry into Newcastle or Amsterdam.

So Darshiva hope that answered your question, oh and yes I own a ton of Nascar based games even though I am Canadian, I loves me some Nascar.
So In ending Darshiva, Keep the pedal down and keep turning left, I am 10-10 around the dial, TheCyclingwolf
